19th C. French Commode
This commode
traveled back and forth between France, Switzerland and Israel until
it arrived at its final destination in the south of the country near Be’ersheva. This 19th century French commode is fashioned in the
classical Louis XV style which was prominent in the stately manors
of 18th century Europe (1710 - 1774). It features beautiful wood-inlaid designs on
four drawers and body using kingwood, ebony, satinwood, lemon,
mahogany and others. |
