Wooden Floor Tiles

These specially cut maple veneered floor tiles were painted using earth tints imported from Sienna. They are textured and lacquered with high quality floor polish to give a natural and durable finish (suitable for indoors only). Note that different floor textures were used in different parts of the house. One used plaster to create a stone effect, where the wood texture is invisible. In another, no plaster was used and therefore the wood texture is visible through the painting effect. These photos show where a brass and copper inlay was added surrounding the elevated living room area.
